We don’t always think of the cost when as we drive past a beautifully landscaped home or business. the latest figures for landscaping services tells us that in 2009 The landscaping services industry took in nearly 40 billion dollars for their efforts. The Landscaping Service industry has around 70,000 businesses throughout the U.S. with the 50 largest companies generating about 15% of revenue. Sales of Landscaping Products are projected to grow at an annual rate of 5.9 % through 2013 to a total of 7.3 billion U.S. dollars. These are some serious expenditures having a direct impact on the health of the U.S. economy and the workers and family;s who depend on a health landscaping industry.

Reportedly the largest landscape design, construction and maintenance company in the United States is ValleyCrest and further reports say ValleyCrest’s revenue will top 1 billion U.S. dollars this year. the NYT reports that ValleyCrest continues to grow at their historical levels of 12%. Who owns this mega player in landscaping, none other then the founder of Dell Computer Michael Dell. So when you are at Gillette Stadium watching the New England Patriots play look out at Patriot Place and see the handy work of ValleyCrest.
